Student Achievements!
Naima Woodrow has been busy again, having competed at the Canterbury GymSports Aerobics championships and placing first in Individuals. She then completed in Invercargill at the Southland GymSports Aerobics Championship and place first in Individuals and second in Pairs. Great effort Naima.

Grayson Small and Abby Ward have been competing recently in the Luge competitions held in Naseby.

Grayson placed 3rd in the Naseby One Cup Race Challenge for 2017 and Abby not only placed 3rd in her Naseby Cup race, but for the second year in a row is the New Zealand Junior Women's Luge Champion!!!  Awesome!
Moving away from sports ... we've had ICAS results back for the Spelling, Science and Digital Technology tests and are very proud of the following students for their outstanding efforts:

Distinction in Digital Technologies - Zara Geddes
Distinction in Spelling - Felix Telfer, Arthur Howard and Max Cunninghame
This places their results in the top 10% of students in New Zealand who took part in these tests.

We're also especially proud of Nico Alvarez Rey-Virag, who gained High Distinction in Spelling, placing his results in the top 1%!

So please remember to email Andrea andreat@dni.school.nz and Anne office@dni.school.nz if there are other great achievements worth celebrating. This will ensure the information gets through for the newsletter and also if they qualify for colours too.
