There's a wee bit going on between now and the end of term so we thought a summary might make things easier:

Year 8 Leavers Dance - Tuesday 11 December

At the conclusion of the dance children need to be collected from the Design Lobby by an adult. Please do not arrange to meet children a few blocks away. We appreciate it is hard to find a park but the student's safety is our main concern. You are welcome to drive around behind the school to park, or into the space outside the main classroom block. 

Please do also note the finish time of 8:30pm so that staff are not left waiting for students to be collected. It's a busy time of year for everyone so staff do need to get home at a reasonable time.


Final Assembly - Thursday 13 December
We'll hold a final assembly at 1pm on Thursday 13th.  At this assembly we present the MVP/MIP's for sport and the leavers certificates.  School will close at 2pm to allow for our prize giving preparations.

Note: The DNI to Pine Hill bus will be coming at the earlier time.


Prize Giving - Thursday 13 December
Our school prize giving starts at 6pm in the DNI Hall. Please note the earlier time to allow for George Street parents to attend.


Last day for 2018 - Monday 17 December and Poroporoaki (Final farewell)
Monday will be our final day for 2018 and to acknowledge our amazing Year 8's who will be leaving us, we'll be having a poroporoaki (final farewell) in the Hall, starting at 12 noon.  Students are welcome to leave after this which will be around 1pm.

Note: The DNI to Pine Hill bus will be coming at 1:10pm.

Office Open Dates
Our office staff take a break over the school holidays too, so the school office will close on Monday 17 December at 2pm, and will reopen on Monday 21 January 2019, 9am .
