Hamlet, at the Pop-up Globe!

The Pop-up Globe team is visiting Dunedin on June 28.

They have spent twenty years studying and making Shakespeare for performance, and believe that Shakespeare is alive when we are so engrossed in a performance that we forget that his work is 400 years old.

The staff at DNI will be doing some work around Shakespeare during literacy in the weeks before and after the performance.

The show is expensive, but we think it will be a fantastic experience. We ask that whanau who can afford to cover the cost ($15 including the bus) do so, and that others make a donation of as much as they can afford. We are really hoping that you'll support us in this as we'd really like to give the students the experience and so we are taking a bit of a gamble!

Plus a community notice:
The 4KT pop-up shop will be open all weekend, from 11-4 from Friday to Monday, and from Friday to Sunday for the next two weekends, and all ages are always very welcome....but there is always something special about our openings!
We have amazing tea and coffee generously provided by Trade Aid, and snacks to keep you going if you're popping in during your lunch break. For the rest... you'll have to join us to see!
