How does Alert Level 2 affect public transport?

We've been asked to share the following message from Orbus, regarding public transport under Level 2:

There won't be any special school-only bus services in this COVID Alert Level 2.

Students who normally use the public buses in Dunedin should continue to do so and, if they are 12 years and over they MUST wear a mask. Everyone must track their travel scanning the COVID QR codes on buses with the NZ Covid app, or by keeping note of their travel.

Distancing is not required on buses this time around. The only regulation around distancing is that standing is not permitted on normal public transport services. This will reduce capacity and we will monitor demand on some busier services.

The below are not exempt from the no-standing requirement, because although these buses typically serve schools, the public are entitled to use these services:

5D 8:35am Pine Hill to Logan Park High School;
6E 3:35pm Logan Park High School to Opoho and Pine Hill;
6D 3:05pm Dunedin North Intermediate to Pine Hill;
40C 3:15pm MacAndrew Intermediate, Queens and Kings to Lookout Point.
