Alex Caldwell

Kia ora, I’m Alex Caldwell, an avid outdoor enthusiast, dedicated educator, and proud family man. I love hiking trails with my wife, Jean, our son, Miles, and our dog. I’ve had the privilege of teaching overseas in Japan and China for three years, and for the past three years, I’ve been working at Northeast Valley Normal Primary. You’ll likely find me with a good book or out exploring nature when I'm not teaching. I believe in the power of learning both inside and outside the classroom, and I’m passionate about inspiring curiosity and resilience in my students and my family.
