I studied music at The University of Otago before completing a Graduate Diploma in teaching in 2014. Dunedin has been my home since I was four years old, but my first two years teaching were at Methven Primary school, in Mid-Canterbury. As a long term resident of North East Valley, I know what a fantastic and vibrant part of Ōtepoti it is.

I have been lucky to travel and live in various parts of the world, but my favourite holidays are still road trips around the South Island. In my spare time I enjoy running with my dog, making music with friends, playing rugby, and going on photography adventures with my wife.
