Dunedin born and bred, I call the Otago Peninsula my turangawaewae. 

I started teaching in 1999 and enjoyed 10 years at intermediate level. In 2010 I took up the principals position at Waitati School and enjoyed five years of rural life. Returning to intermediate reignites my pleasure of working with adolescents and I thoroughly enjoy the energy and zest our students bring to life and learning. 

Outside of school I enjoy skiing, reading, cooking, music and swimming. My husband works in education also, and we have three children.
