Senior Staff Team
I come from a family of educators and am passionate about meeting the needs of all children through inclusive education practices. 2016 will be my fifth year at DNI and I love the diversity and opportunities for learning in the North East Valley community. I have taught at all levels of primary education, worked as a Literacy Consultant in the USA and as a lecturer at the Otago University College of Education.
Currently I am our school's SENCO (Special Education Needs Coordinator) and a member of the senior management team.
When I am not at school I can be most often found with my grandchildren on our small lifestyle property in Waikouaiti. I'm a gardener, love reading and have developed a love of travel.
