Teacher Aide
I have been a Teacher Assistant for the past 25 years, working at Pine Hill School, DNI, Logan Park High School and then back to DNI.
Working with children with learning needs is very rewarding, being able to see them develop their skills and gain confidence in themselves. Teaching english to the ESOL children is also a regular part of my day. I enjoy working with all children, everyone is so positive and enjoys the chance to try new activities offered.
Managing the uniform shop has always been an exciting part of my job, I get to meet the Year 7's before they start school and watch them grow in the time they have with us.
I am married, and have three very busy and sporty daughters, two living in Canada and one in Dunedin
I love the outdoors, most weekends spent biking, camping, tramping, skiing, reading, and catching up on friends and family.
